Gati School Health Clinic | Gati, Sindhupalchok

Introduction

People prioritize their health daily, which is why the health centre in Gati village and surrounding areas was established in 2005 with the support of Namaste Nepal. Recently, the government mandated that every school have a health assistant to administer first aid to students as necessary. As per Government regulations, our health centre is located at Shree Kali Devi Secondary School to fulfil this requirement.

Namaste Nepal has been providing general medication to this centre to promote regular attendance of students in school. Ms Dila Khadka, the health assistant in charge, manages the health centre.

A new staff nurse from Barabhise municipality has joined the school health clinic. The nurse will work alongside the health assistant, supported by Namaste Nepal. Together, they will provide health services to Gati villagers and nearby communities who rely on the school health clinic.
