Student Exchange Program

In the year 2014, our project coordinator, Nima Tshering lama, along with six students of Shree Kali Devi Secondary School, got an opportunity to attend the 10th anniversary of Namaste Nepal S-GmbH Freiberg on its establishment and partnership with Shree Kali Devi Secondary School in Frieberg, Germany. At the same time, the 10th Nepal run took place, and for the first time, six students from Gati and our project coordinator, Nima Tshering Lama, could participate in the Nepal run.

Taking part in the Nepal run was very special, and we could also collect ideas to hold it in Nepal. It was also a proud moment for us to take part in Nepal run for our school and learns from the student exchange program. The visit was for a short time, about three weeks. We experience a homestay with a German family to better understand German and Nepalese cultures.

In general, the purpose of our visit was beneficial. We are thankful to the Namaste Nepal Freiberg team for their belief in us and for allowing us to understand the concept of Nepal run through a student exchange program.
