School Internet Setup

Internet is the best source to receive information on various topics to improve knowledge which can be used to facilitate learning in a variety of ways. Daily updates on news such as sports, entertainment, politics, business, latest new technologies, news, online exam booking, etc. are updated instantly.

Namaste Nepal has support for the installation of internet service at Shree Kali Devi Secondary School, Gati and Shree Seti Devi Basic School, Dandakateri. After successfully installation in those two school, Namaste Nepal decided to set up internet in few more project schools i.e. Shree Khada Devi Basic Schook – Kasheri, Shree Gorakhnath Basic School- Mandra, Shree Namuna Simsar Basic School- Bugam, Shree Singarche Basic School and Shree Deepjyoti Basic School- Sakuwa. In the year 2022, these schools have successfully connected the internet in the school with the financial support from Namaste Nepal.  The internet connection in school is benefiting both the teachers and students for learning purposes. The Internet facility in the school provides teachers and students to surf the information within a short time for learning. This project has helped teachers to use the resources available to teach the student more creatively. We found that the teachers have been downloading rhymes and informative videos to show to the student and make classroom activities more interesting and productive. And the students are also enjoying visual classes on their course of study in the school.
