Additional Teacher Support

Education serves the purpose of preparing individuals for work in the economy, integrating them into society, and instilling societal values and morals. It also prepares young people for adulthood and leadership roles. Namaste Nepal has been supporting a school project since its inception, providing additional teachers to improve the quality of education.

Teachers play a crucial role in advancing quality education, and without them, students would struggle to identify their future aspirations. NNK works towards developing public school education by providing dedicated teachers for various subjects, including Science, Social Studies, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, and English, for Secondary and lower Secondary classes. NNK also provides teachers for pre-primary and Kindergarten classes. The project aims to improve the education system and maintain the quality of education in the Gati, Dandakateri, Mandra, Singarche, and Sotang villages of Gati VDC Sindhupalchok District and Dansing village of Tindobato VDC, Syangja District.

NNK has been providing salaries for additional teachers since 2005 A.D., and a competitive selection process is used to choose the 25 teachers who currently work in the project, including five secondary school teachers, four lower secondary teachers, eight primary teachers, and eight kindergarten teachers.

The impact of Namaste Nepal’s school project has been significant in the communities it serves. The additional teachers NNK provided have helped improve the quality of education and prepare students for their future aspirations.

The project has also helped to integrate these communities into society and instil important values and morals. The dedication of these teachers has been crucial in advancing quality education, and the competitive selection process used by NNK ensures that only the best teachers are chosen to work on the project. Through this project, NNK has supported the development of public school education in several villages, including Gati, Dandakateri, Mandra, Singarche, Sotang, and Tindobato. This has helped to maintain the quality of education in these areas and prepare young people for adulthood and leadership roles.
