School Health Clinic | Gati
Individuals’ health and well-being are crucial for leading a fulfilling life. In 2005, with the assistance of Namaste Nepal, this health centre was established in Gati village and its nearby areas to provide healthcare services to the local communities. The government has recently implemented a policy mandating schools to have a health assistant to provide first aid treatment to students when necessary. Per the government rule, our health centre is at Shree Kali Devi Secondary School. Namaste Nepal has been instrumental in supporting general medication at this centre to ensure the well-being of students. Ms. Dila Khadka is the health assistant in charge of this health centre, and she is dedicated to providing quality healthcare services to the local population.
Recently, a new staff nurse has been appointed to the school health clinic from Barabhise municipality. With the addition of this new member, the two staff members, including the health assistant supported by Namaste Nepal, will work together to cater to the healthcare needs of the Gati villagers and their nearby village people. The school health clinic is the only healthcare facility available to these communities, and we strive to provide them with the best possible care. We are committed to improving the health and well-being of the local population and will continue to provide quality healthcare services to the best of our abilities.
